What’s it all about?
The day is aimed at apprentice-level employees seeking to develop their skills and knowledge of core bearings and lubrication principles, providing the essential building blocks and hands-on practical skills needed to install and maintain bearings, maximising potential, and improving overall productivity and minimising Total Cost of Ownership.
The course covers the following topics
- Optimising the bearing lifecycle
- Common failure modes
- Lubrication selection and delivery
- Counterfeit product - perils and prevention
- Practical bearing mounting/dismounting
- Online tools - a virtual toolbox
- Sustainability and the circular economy
- SKF factory tour
Venue
The day will be held at the SKF factory in Luton, (Sundon Park Road, Luton, LU3 3BL) Arrival from 8.30-15.15.
