Bucket Conveyor Chain or Elevator Chain
Bucket Conveyor Chain also known as Elevator chians have buckets fixed to one or two strands of chain.
The buckets attached to the Bucket Conveyor Chain / Elevator Chain are so shaped that when passing over the headwheel, the back of each bucket acts as a chute for the material discharged from the following bucket.
Feeding of the elevator with bucket conveyor chain or elevator chain is achieved by a loading leg or chute.
Such elevators are suitable for handling lumpy, friable or abrasive materials.
