Diamond Coils

We can manufacture diamond coils to any size, requirement, and specification, from High Conductivity Annealed Copper, insulated to one of our many insulations to comply with the interturn electrical stresses, and which will normally fall into one of the following voltages and designs.

2,200/3,300Volts 60/50Hz Insulation Class F/H Manufactured from mica paper laminates impregnated with synthetic Epoxide/Silicone Resins. Diamond coil can be produce with a hard pressed fully cured cells or as soft coils designed for Vacuum Pressure Impregnation, and standard varnish impregnation.

4,400/6,600Volts 60/50Hz Insulation Class F/H Manufactured from mica paper laminates impregnated with synthetic Epoxide/ Silicone Resins. Diamond coils within this range are produced with hard fully cured cells, although we make soft coils for customers with Vacuum Pressure Impregnation facilities. All coils within this Voltage Range will be made with Corona Protection as an integral part of the coil.

10,500/13,800Volts 60/50Hz Class F/H Manufactured from mica paper laminates impregnated with synthetic Epoxide/Silicone Resins. Diamond coils within this voltage range will have hard fully cured cells with a semi conducting corona protection pressed into the cells. For customers with Vacuum Pressure Impregnation facilities we can offer one of our successful Hybrid Designs.

Quality Control - every diamond coil is inspected during each stage of manufacture to our Quality Standard and are tested in accordance with ESI 44-5.
