Festo unveils new Clean Design range of cylinders

Festo's new range of products based on 'Clean Design' principles offers competitive pricing, ready availability and is manufactured to high standards of design and engineering.
Festo Clean Design products eliminate waste and bacteria traps and increases the efficiency of high-pressure hose washdowns as it's free from protrusions.
They are manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel and feature an extra-thick anodising surface which provides several extra degrees of corrosion protection.
Additional mounting items are also manufactured to the same standard, ensuring there are no weak points where corrosion can take hold, or nooks and crannies where bacteria can breed.
The new CRDSNU round cylinder has PPS self-adjusting pneumatic cushioning technology which ensures the cylinder automatically adjusts to the prevailing load and speed conditions. Automation eliminates the need for maintenance, and helps to maintain the cylinder's clean washdown lines by eliminating the cushioning screw.
Added benefits of this patented technology are faster installation easier handling and greater ease of use, and reduced noise when the machine is in operation.
