Inverters Inverters are now a mature and fully accepted product offering a wide range of advantages in the control of AC Motor driven machinery. These advantages go far beyond the basic requirement for offering Variable Speed control as the reduced shock loading provided can dramatically extend the life of the mechanical drive mechanisms. In Fan and Pumping applications the Inverter offers potential to reduce energy consumption by 30% to 40% thereby allowing for capital expenditure payback times of less than 12 months in many instances. Most new machinery whether of the Machine Tool variety or Heating and Ventilating equipment, comes fitted with Inverters as standard.
