Following success of ERIKS’ first graduate intake in 2014, the search for the next generation is underway. The assessment day took place on Friday 27th of March in Halesowen with a number of ambitious and talented Graduates invited from across the UK.
The ERIKS UK Academy is a structured two year scheme implemented to develop and nurture our chosen Graduates, whilst exposing them to the diverse range of core divisions across the business.
The day’s agenda was tailored specifically to provide an overview of ERIKS as an organisation including; industries, products and services — but more importantly, showcasing our current graduate scheme and the value it brings.
Throughout the day, there were a number of stimulating activities and team assessments as well as presentations from Alan Whetstone- Managing Director for ERIKS UK , Helen Hill (Wellbeing Manager), Joanne Ball (Learning & Development Manager) and our current Graduates. All of the presentations provided a good overview of the business from a corporate, commercial and a technical viewpoint.
The current Graduates presented their experiences and spoke about projects completed to date on the graduate scheme. The candidates also had the chance to go on a tour of the ERIKS Distribution Centre in Halesowen with Alan Woodford (Warehouse Manager), which helped them further in understanding how ERIKS operate.
