This weekend saw the return of the Festival of 1000 Bikes held at Mallory Park race cicuit in Leicestershire. For the third consecutive year, ERIKS have sponsored the Past Masters event which reunites famous racers with their race bikes from yesteryear. The weekend gives motorbike enthusiasts the opportunity to ride their own bikes in track sessions, browse hundreds of vintage road bikes and race bikes, as well as watching 'Past Masters' take to the circuit.
Many ERIKS staff spent the weekend camping at the event with several of their best customers, with more customers joining them for the day on Sunday. Geoff Cox, General Manager, ERIKS Hose Technology, gave a presentation to the attendees on the Product Business Units, encouraging them to use the Application Engineers available from all Product Business Units.
One customer said 'I certainly had no idea that ERIKS were involved in such a wide spectrum of activities. This will certainly encourage me to consider your company in areas we had not previously looked at'.
The presentation was followed by an ERIKS exclusive interview with both 3 times World Champion Freddie Spencer and 4 times World Superbike Champion, Carl Fogarty, conducted by Geoff Cox. Freddie Spencer and Carl Fogarty spent a few hours with ERIKS customers in the ERIKS hospitality suite, talking and signing autographs.
The day was a complete success, our customers were interested to learn the wide capability of ERIKS UK and I am sure that the presence of two past masters will ensure that this event stays in the mind of our customers for a long time to come' Geoff Cox, General Manager, ERIKS Industrial Hose
