Servo Systems with DeviceNet

The DeviceNet™ connection includes comprehensive support of standard object classes. The built-in indexer includes a homing routine, jogging with controlled velocities, incremental & absolute positioning with controlled motion profiles, and ability to read and write the drive parameters – all from standard DeviceNet™!
The drive also has complete built-in functionality for dynamic braking, handling of regenerative energy with internal or external resistors, and digital inputs/outputs for motion limits, brake control, alarm, slow-down, and stop functions. Extra regeneration energy handling capability can be added to each AC servo drive with standard external regeneration resistors.
The universal remote operator can be used for drive set-up and troubleshooting. Standard cables for motor power and encoder feedback are available that have all the necessary connections on both ends of the cables. There is also an optional breakout board with screw terminals and a connection cable to facilitate all other connections to the servo drives. Standard cables for motor power, motor feedback, and I/O connections are available.
The PV Indexing Drives and P3 Motors (IP-43) are offered in three system combinations.
Each system operates to a maximum speed of 4500 r.p.m. The low-inertia motors have a built-in 2000 line (8000 count per revolution) encoder and optional 24 VDC spring-set holding brakes. These ac servo drives have complete built-in functionality including dynamic braking and handling of regenerative energy.
