ERIKS Graduate Programme

Recruitment of talented people into management roles is also very important if ERIKS is to continue its success within the UK. 'This year has seen an important time for ERIKS with the launch of the ERIKS UK Academy, our tailored Graduate Programme, which aims to introduce fresh new talent into the business,' says Denny.

The academy is a structured, two-year scheme implemented to develop and nurture graduate talent and expose recruits to the diverse range of activities
across the business. The end result of the programme is a move into a management position within ERIKS. Following a graduate recruitment campaign in the autumn of 2013, potential recruits from different disciplines, including business and management, engineering and mechanical engineering, were invited to an assessment day which gave attendees
the opportunity to meet with ERIKS’ divisional heads, ask questions and gain
an insight into the business.

'What pleased me most was the very high calibre of graduates who expressed
an interest in joining ERIKS and the commitment of our senior management
team to attending the assessment day and take an active role in finding our
future leaders,' says Denny.

Crucially, the ERIKS graduate recruitment process, including the assessment day, were well received by graduate attendees. 'We received a lot of feedback from graduates that our assessment day was one of the best they had attended,' continues Denny, 'and was less a "selection" process and more about "learning" – which was exactly what we wanted.'
