Bearing Know-How

Our team of highly experienced engineers, designers and specialists can help with performance improvements throughout the complete bearings life cycle.

Coupled with our close relationships with partner manufacturers - we were the original Asset Improvement Programme (AIP) partner with NSK and are the only national Certified Maintenance Partner (CMP) for SKF - it is expertise which will ensure you achieve the lowest possible Total cost of Ownership of your bearings.

Our bearing expertise across both OEM and MRO segments in common applications allows us to take know-how from one situation and apply the benefits to another.

With our know-how we can help you overcome common failures and upgrade the performance of your bearings and increase asset and plant peformance.

A prime example is our knowledge of air handling units and fans where we have extensive expertise and experience converting traditional spherical roller bearing arrangements to:-

  • SKF CARB toroidal roller bearing/spherical roller bearing to allow improved compensation for thermal expansion and prevent early failure
  • Revolvo split roller bearings, fully split to the shaft to enable to quick and easy replacement and checking

ERIKS is at the cutting edge of bringing new bearing technology and innovation to the marketplace.

New technologies to improve reliability, reduce premature failure and reduce frictional losses can, when correctly applied, save you money, reduce unplanned downtime and keep your asset and plant running safely.

Bearings are an inheritantly sustainable product.

A bearing exists to save energy, reducing friction and the associated energy losses is the principal purpose of any bearing.

Most bearings are made from predominantly recycled steel and many are made from 100% recycled steel.

Almost all metal bearings and components can be fully recycled after use
